Best Telegram bot builders: 6 options compared in 2026

By Mario Antonini·

The best Telegram bot builder depends on three questions: where your funnel lives, what language your team works in, and how you collect payment. This article compares six options on the same criteria, so you can tell which one fits your operation.

Conflict of interest notice: this is the Flow4You blog, and Flow4You is one of the six. So every third-party fact links to an official source and was checked in October 2026, and we also list where Flow4You loses. We read official sites and docs. We did not run a hands-on test of each dashboard.

One point up front: Flow4You’s app and pricing are in Portuguese and Brazilian reais only. If that rules it out for you, the rest of the comparison still applies to the other five.

How to pick the best Telegram bot builder: the criteria

We used seven criteria you can check yourself:

  • Language: site, docs and dashboard.
  • Currency: the currency prices appear in.
  • Entry price: the lowest published price to get started.
  • AI: whether there is an AI feature inside Telegram conversations.
  • Live chat: whether a teammate can reply through the tool.
  • Segmented broadcast: a mass message to part of your list.
  • Payments: what the tool does when it is time to charge.

Where we could not confirm something, the table says “not confirmed”. Prices change and can vary by region, so check each pricing page before you decide. Prices shown in R$ come from pages we opened from Brazil.

Table 1: language, currency and entry price

Two inconsistencies we found in the sources themselves:

  • ManyChat: the pricing page opened from Brazil shows Pro at R$ 149/mo and a free plan up to 1,000 contacts. The help center describes a new model from March 2026, with a free plan of up to 25 Active Contacts per month, and warns that plans vary by region.
  • SendPulse and BotHelp: SendPulse’s Telegram page mentions plans “from R$ 36 per month”, and BotHelp’s Portuguese home page mentions “from $10”. The table uses the figures from the pricing pages.

What each option does best

ManyChat

A good fit if you also sell on Instagram, TikTok or WhatsApp and want one tool. It has a free plan, and Telegram is included. The tradeoff is that Telegram is one channel among several, with its own differences. We cover them in ManyChat for Telegram: what works and what changes.

SendPulse

The strength is the bundle: email, CRM, courses, websites and chatbots in one account. It also lists the widest range of in-chat payment providers here. It makes sense if you want several marketing channels in one place.

BotHelp

It covers Telegram, Instagram, WhatsApp, Messenger and Viber, and bills by active subscribers. Its payment providers and plan docs point to the Russian market: the price example there is in rubles, and the docs say accounts paid through Robokassa or FastSpring have no access to the AI-Agent. Confirm this with them before you count on the AI.

n8n

A general automation platform, not a bot product. The Telegram node sends messages and media, and the trigger receives bot events. It suits teams already running n8n with someone technical nearby, or a bot that is one part of a larger automation. You gain control. In return, you build what a bot platform ships ready-made, such as a chat screen and broadcast controls, and you run the server if you self-host.

Custom code

Total freedom. It makes sense when your rules are very specific and someone will maintain the code after launch. Two points from the official docs: bots are limited to about 30 messages per second in bulk sends unless they enable paid broadcasts, and digital goods sold through native bot payments must use Telegram Stars.

Flow4You

Built only for Telegram, with a visual flow editor, broadcasts segmented by tag, live chat with an operator, and an AI Agent inside the flow. To see the logic in practice, the Telegram bot builder guide walks through a complete flow.

Where Flow4You wins and where it loses

It wins, on the criteria in this article, when:

  • Your funnel lives on Telegram. Each flow has its own link, so your bio, your ad and a partner can open different conversations.
  • The sale needs a human. The operator uses the “Join the conversation” button (“Entrar na Conversa”), and the automation stops replying until the operator resumes the bot (“Retomar Bot”) or the automatic countdown runs out. Details in the Telegram bot live chat guide.
  • The AI needs a clear goal. The AI Agent has a Prompt, a Goal and two exits, and the flow continues through one of them.
  • Your team works in Portuguese and bills in reais. That is the context it was built for.

It loses, and it is worth saying plainly, when:

  • You want to start without paying. There is no free plan. ManyChat and SendPulse have one.
  • You also sell on other channels. Flow4You is Telegram only. For Instagram or WhatsApp, the multichannel tools are ahead.
  • You want to charge inside the conversation. There is no native payment. Look at SendPulse, ManyChat or the Bot API instead.
  • Your team doesn’t read Portuguese. The app and the pricing are only in Portuguese and R$.

How to decide in five minutes

  1. Selling on more than one channel? Start with ManyChat and SendPulse.
  2. Have a developer and want full control? n8n or custom code.
  3. Need to charge inside the chat? Compare SendPulse, ManyChat and the Bot API.
  4. Funnel only on Telegram, team working in Portuguese? Flow4You was built for that case.
  5. Still unsure? Build the same short flow on your remaining option: entry, offer and one follow-up. Note how long it took and who can change it later.

Whatever you choose, step one is the same: create the bot in @BotFather and connect the token.

Common mistakes when choosing

  • Comparing only the monthly fee. Add AI, team seats, extra contacts and, for custom code, maintenance hours.
  • Reading the channel list, not what works on each channel. A feature available on Instagram may not exist on Telegram.
  • Forgetting who will use it. If your operator can’t follow the dashboard, support stalls just when a sale is warm.
  • Picking on the free plan without reading the limit. Check what happens when your list passes the ceiling.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a completely free Telegram bot builder?

There are free plans with limits. ManyChat and SendPulse both have one, and n8n offers a version you install on your own server. The ceiling on contacts, messages or features tends to show up as you grow, and a server has its own cost.

Can I switch builders later without losing my bot?

The bot stays yours, because it is created in @BotFather and the platform only receives the token. Flows and your lead list do not move on their own. Before switching, check how to export your leads and how the new tool imports them.

How many bots can one Flow4You account run?

Up to 30 bots per account. Teammates join through an invite link, with either full access or a chat-only role.

Which option suits someone who can't code?

A tool with a visual editor: ManyChat, SendPulse, BotHelp or Flow4You. n8n is visual too, but building live chat and broadcast control on it takes more technical knowledge. Custom code only makes sense if someone will maintain it.
